 Dr Amy Sing,
Associate Group Director - Post Marketing Genentech, Inc, United States Dr Sing has been at Genentech, Inc since 2003. During that time she has worked on the Avastin program developing label enabling trials for metastatic breast cancer, colon cancer, ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer. More recently she has developed a program in observational studies and outcomes research for Genentech�s biooncology program. She now oversees the different programs that include both treatment and disease observational studies. Prior to joining Genentech, Dr Sing was a medical director at a small biotechnology company in Seattle, WA. Dr Sing is a graduate of Amherst College in Amherst, MA and Stanford University Medical School in Stanford, CA. She did her residency in Pediatrics at The Children�s Hospital in Boston, MA and her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and University of Washington in Seattle, WA.Appearing: Day Two - Thursday 3 December 2009 12.00 Challenges designing, implementing, analysing and interpreting observational studies in oncology• The need for formal comparative effectiveness research in oncology
