 Dr Tanya Ramey,
Director, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs Pfizer, Inc., United Kingdom Dr. Ramey is a clinical leader, psychiatrist in Specialty Business Unit at Pfizer, Inc. Groton-New London Laboratories. She was trained in the United States at Vanderbilt University and was selected for pharmaceutical industry as one of the top 7 International Medical Graduates in psychiatry. In Russia, her country of origin, she was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in Semashko Moscow Medical and Dental Institute. Dr.Ramey started her career in pharmaceutical industry in 1999 at Eli Lilly & Co, where she worked in phases IV &III and was responsible for the clinical aspects of Neuroscience across Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Canada and Middle East. Dr. Ramey continued her career at Pfizer Inc, where she led successful bipolar mania Geodon European and US regulatory submission study that has enabled successful FDA submission. Dr. Ramey led programs that have attempted to progress new antidepressant development via fixed combination approach of known SSRIs (sertraline) with the new mechanisms. Most recently she has achieved success in phase III Lyrica add-on refractory GAD state-of- the-art study. Currently she is a clinical leader in new antipsychotics area. She also has an extensive experience in early stages of drug development & translational stage in major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Dr. Ramey is an internal Pfizer expert in affective disorders and antipsychotics areas. Dr. Ramey is one of the founding members of the International Society for CNS Clinical Trials and Methodology (ISCTM).
