Elizabeth is responsible for the Shire HGT Global Outcome Surveys. The Global Outcome Survey department manages global patient registries on some rare disorders. These initiatives are run in close collaboration with treating physicians and experts within the field and the objective is to collect �real world� data. The data are continuously analyzed in order to facilitate optimize patient treatment. Prior joining Shire HGT (formerly TKT) in 2000, Elizabeth held a similar function for about 10 years with Pharmacia Peptide Hormones. Elizabeth has a Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry and Immunology from Uppsala University; Sweden and spend her first 10 years after graduating as Project Manager for several projects within the R&D function, Pharmacia Diagnostics.
