    Appearing:
    Day One – Wednesday 9 December 2009
    11.40am

Applying HTA models at the regional level - new opportunities to distribute and share economic models online

    • HTA is gaining importance at the sub-national level. Economic evidence is more frequently required when negotiating with payers, primary care trusts, hospital administrators and guideline committees
    • HTA models are important tools to communicate with regional decision makers, but the technical complexities of working with models have until now discouraged wide-spread use by representatives and account managers
    • This presentation will explore some of the new opportunities to distribute and interact with HTA models on the internet
