Feedback for generic medicines in 2010
Each year we ask delegates to fill in feedback forms so we can make the next event even better and targeted to your learning and networking needs.

The feedback received provides an excellent grounding as we begin to work on the 2010 event and with the vast majority of attendees rating it as good and excellent we are bound to see a high delegate retention rate. Some of the areas of interest that were highlighted as reasons for attending, and will feature again in the programme were:

  • European Commission’s findings on pharma sector enquiry
  • Developments in the generics industry
  • Biosimilars
  • Overall picture of the generics industry
  • Strategies for smaller / niche generics companies
  • Current market over view and future trends for the generics industry
  • Patent update
  • Globalisation and integration
  • Injectable market
Did you attend the 2009 conference, and have any suggestions for 2010? If so, please get in touch.

The business of affordable medicines
The generics industry is still experiencing phenomenal growth and continues to outstrip the performance of the traditional pharmaceutical industry. As the sector becomes increasingly international, companies are facing the challenge of finding the best operating conditions for the development, manufacture and marketing of their products. Involvement in the policy making process remains a priority to create an environment that enables access to quality medicines at affordable prices.

Health Network's unique speed networking session

Format for 2010
The conference will continue the 4 day format, with a pre and post workshop. The networking dinner was also a success and will be included at the 4th annual event.

New networking features were introduced to the 3rd annual conference, some of which are unique to Health Network, such as the online contact system and speed networking. People who had attended this conference in February 2008 said that these areas brought added benefit to the conference and allowed greater interaction with all attendees.
