Dr Károly Fäller graduated in medicine at the Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest in 1975. He was trained at the 2nd Department of Paediatrics at the Semmelweis University and at Great Ormond Street Chlidren’s Hospital in London. He specialised in Paediatrics, Paediatric Cardiology and Clinical Pharmacology. He joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1991, he was responsible for clinical studies of ICI, Zeneca, AstraZeneca conducted in Hungary between 1991 and 2000. Since 2000 he has been Clinical Research Director for Bulgaria, Romania, since 2003 for Russia and since 2007 for Ukraine as well, at AstraZeneca Clinical Research Region Central and Eastern Europe.
