Dr. Pojasek oversees Solace’s clinical development programs, including SLC022, a Phase II glial cell modulator for treating neuropathic pain. Dr. Pojasek co-founded Solace in 2006 while working at PureTech Ventures, an early stage Boston-based venture capital firm. At PureTech, Dr. Pojasek played a leading role in starting and managing several companies based on innovative technologies from the scientific fields of neuroscience, metabolic disease, dermatology and analytical research tools. Dr. Pojasek received his PhD from the Biological Engineering Department at MIT and his BA in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
