 Yvonne Ulrich,
Head of Operations, Development Strategic Sourcing Novartis Yvonne Ulrich is the Head of Operations at Novartis Pharma in Basel, Switzerland and responsible for the oversight and leadership of active benchmarking projects and Operations within Strategic Sourcing. Yvonne has 16 years clinical and CRO expertise including serving most recently as Site Head, Portal Management. In this capacity, she built up a key new application for managing clinical trials globally and handled with her team more than 220 individual investigator portals per year. Previously, she served as Clinical Trial Leader in Neuroscience, where she was active in the preparation of new drug applications, overall leadership of global clinical trials as well as establishing the operational process of the Protocol Review Committee at Novartis. A graduate of the University of Giessen, in Germany, she earned a B.S. Degree in Medical Information and Documentation. Additionally, she holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University - School of Business. Yvonne joined Novartis in 1997. Prior to joining Novartis, Yvonne served as international Project Manager at Chiltern International and supported Clinical Pharmacology and national clinical trials at Sanofi-Aventis. She has two little boys and currently finishes her MSc in Psychology.
