David Kim, Head Vendor Strategy and Management, Merck

David Kim heads the Vendor Strategy and Management group within Merck & Co. He oversees his teams in all aspects of outsourcing activities which includes alliance management, vendor qualification, study level vendor management, vendor payments, and consultant agreement management. He started his Pharma career at Merck and then held positions in Clinical Operations with Novartis and Schering Plough before returning back to Merck as a result of the SP- Merck merger. He holds an MBA in Pharma Management and a BS in Finance.
