Graduated in Medicine from the University of Sao Paulo - Brazil, and specialized in Infectious Diseases. After working in academia, joined the pharmaceutical industry at Merck Sharp Dohme in Brazil in 1984, first in Medical Marketing, then in Clinical Research. In 2001 transitioned into the CRO industry for almost 4 years, and then back to big pharma, with Schering AG and, since 2007, with Pfizer. Currently responsible for Clinical Operations of Pfizer in Latin America. Also engaged in several professional associations for the development of clinical research in Latin America. Enjoys music and reading, with special interest in History of Sciences and Medicine.
