Sameer Mistry, Medical Affairs Lead, Immunology & Lead Medic for Digital, Janssen

Sameer graduated in History and Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2000, and trained in Critical Care and Surgery in the UK National Health Service, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Some interesting conversations in 2004 led to a move into the pharmaceutical industry, where Sameer has worked ever since in a variety of Medical Affairs roles across several therapy areas. Sameer currently leads the Immunology Medical Affairs team and is the Lead Medic for Digital at Janssen UK, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. Sameer has a deep interest in the use of technology to improve healthcare, and has been lucky enough to collaborate on several award-winning digital initiatives, including the subject of his presentation: the Janssen Psoriasis App
