Drug Safety Americas 2016: our story

Our Story

Now in its 9th edition, World Drug Safety Americas 2017 is one of the most successful drug safety strategy-led conferences for pharma and biotech organisations.

Since its launch in 2008, this conference has stood out from the crowd. The event has always provided a unique forum for industry and partners to learn about the latest developments in drug safety and how they could tackle day-to-day critical challenges. We’ve kept this as our core concept ever since and tailored our programme year after year to address exciting and emerging topics of highest relevance to the industry at that time. Going into 2017, drug safety is still as important a topic as ever as priorities change and the regulatory backdrop continues to evolve. Now is the time to improve patient safety strategies to exceed expectations. This year’s event builds on the success to date, covering new technology applications in drug safety and offering the most innovative and freshest case studies on current drug safety projects.

The organisers, Health Network Communications, design, produce and create conference agendas that are truly world class. Our formats are unique. Our keynotes are genuine innovators and thought leaders. Our content and topics are well-researched, pertinent and fresh to our audience each year.

2017 is set to be bigger and better than ever before. The meeting has a high proportion of pharma organisations year on year. We attract the biggest industry players from large, small and medium pharma / biotech organisations. We will have even more perspectives including regional specialists, technology partners, consultancies, CROs and global directors in attendance. World Drug Safety Americas 2017 is the meeting place of global pioneers who are shaping the pharmacovigilance industry.
